Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to Strata by Accountive ("Strata Pro"). It is a supplementary plain-language summary of the refund terms in our Terms of Service, Section 4. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service govern.
Free Trial
Strata Pro includes a free trial period during which all Pro features are available at no cost. Trial details are described on the pricing page at the time of signup.
You may cancel during the trial period without charge. No payment is required to start a trial.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time through your account portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — your Pro access continues through the period you've already paid for, after which Strata reverts to the free tier.
We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing month.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are refundable within fourteen (14) days of the initial purchase date.
To request a refund within the 14-day window, contact us at support@accountive.ca with your account email and reason for the refund. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval, returned to the original payment method.
After the 14-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may still cancel at any time, with Pro access continuing through the end of the prepaid term.
Billing Errors and Exceptional Cases
Refunds for confirmed billing errors, accidental duplicate charges, or extended service outages will be processed within 10 business days of approval, regardless of subscription type or billing cycle.
Examples include duplicate charges for the same subscription, charges after a confirmed cancellation, service outages exceeding our reasonable uptime commitments, and unauthorized use of your payment method (please also contact your bank in that case).
How to Request a Refund
Email support@accountive.ca with your account email address, the subscription you're requesting a refund for, the reason for the refund request, and the date(s) of the charge in question.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds process within 10 business days to your original payment method.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancel stops future billing — you keep access through the end of your current paid period.
Refund returns money you've already paid, subject to the rules above.
You can cancel at any time through your account portal without contacting us.
